I got my start in church communications. For a decade I was the person writing the announcements, designing the slides, running the social accounts and keeping the website up to date, usually all in the same week.

That job taught me something most designers never learn: a website isn't a piece of art. It's how people decide whether to walk through your door. If they can't find the service time, the phone number or the next step in a few seconds, they leave.

So I started building websites the way I wished someone had built them for me. Clear words, a clean design, and a site that's easy to keep up, whether it's a custom build, a Squarespace or Shopify site, or the WordPress site you already have and need someone to manage. That became Simple Web Agency, and today I help churches, non-profits and small businesses all over Mississippi and beyond.
