I designed the Squarespace website for Grace Bible Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi, so first-time guests know what Sunday looks like before they arrive and members can find any sermon by series, book or speaker.
A faithful church that needed its website to welcome people.
Grace Bible Church has been teaching the Bible on the Parkway in Ridgeland since 2007. Most people decide whether to visit a church by looking at its website first.
Guests needed to see service times, what to expect and the pastor's heart right away. Members needed one place to watch every message, without a staff member posting each sermon by hand.
Three changes that help guests show up.
Plan your visit
Service times are in the hero, "Plan Your Visit" sits at the top and bottom of the page, and a welcome video from Pastor John Ward answers questions before a guest walks in.
Build a sermon library
A custom sermon player pulls messages from the church's YouTube channel, then lets people browse by series or scripture and filter by book, year or speaker.
Tell the whole story
"Rooted in Truth" beliefs, "Every Generation Growing Together" ministries and a missions section with 10 missionaries on 5 continents show who the church really is.
