Launching Easy Grants
Easy Grants: a clearer story and a simpler first step.
I rebuilt the Easy Grants website on Squarespace around a clear story, with the funding seeker as the hero and Nick as the guide, so nonprofits, schools and public agencies understand the offer in seconds and start with a free readiness check instead of a sales call.
Great expertise, but the website buried it.
Nick Walters has helped organizations raise more than $1 billion. His real edge isn't writing grants. It's finding the 90% of private foundations that don't have a website, the quieter funders most nonprofits never hear from.
The first version of the site didn't lead with that story, and nearly every button asked visitors to schedule a call. For a small nonprofit just starting to look for funding, that's a big first ask.
Three changes that let the site do the selling.
Lead with the real problem
A story-first headline and a “real problem” section built on three hard numbers: 220,000 foundations, 90% with no website, and 70% that only need a one-page letter.
Lower the first step
“Schedule a Call” became a free, two-minute readiness check. Visitors get a checklist and Nick's Grants 101 video, and Easy Grants gets a qualified lead.
Put trust above the fold
The $1B+ track record sits in the hero, leaders from city hall, higher ed and K-12 follow right after, and a founder section introduces Nick.
Take a look around.
